In the success of local search, one thing is clear.

There are so many ads on today’s SERPs, top four paid ads are everywhere, and it’s no longer uncommon for paid listings to be prioritized in local search results. Take a look at this example Gyi Tsakalakis shared with me, showing ads above 3 pack results in a local pack for mobile rankings. Remember, there are four more ads on it.
If you are on the desktop and click on one of the 3-pack results, you will be taken to the local Finder. In the desktop search example below, once you enter the local search engine, you will see two paid local results above other businesses.
